Through the Holy Eucharist we participate in the saving death and glorious resurrection of the Lord.

Lots of 'happenings' in our little community lately.

In just two weeks we have a new leader and an assistant leader, Confession during Lent, Holy Week then Easter celebrations and a housewarming-blessing!

Our endless 'thank you's:

- Father John Wong for facilitating Election Day

- To all ex-Core members who have been with us through these years

- The wardens of Church of St Mary of the Angels for giving us a place to join in the Easter Vigil celebrations

- Andrew for joining and helping us out on Easter Vigil!

- Five Loaves Ministry for the hot-cross buns

- the Friars for being there, even for a hello

- Humi, Jeremy, Darius and Ginger for their invitation to their humble abode

Little Bryan's baptism

Last Sunday some of us attended Bryan's baptism. 14 kids of ages ranging from 1 month to 6 years old were baptised by Father John Wong who Signed his welcome address. It was an eye-opener for us, surrounded by babies and toddlers for their baptism - some of us must have felt like giants there XD!!!

We are still around! We apologise for the lack of updates..the webmaster is still currently on a lookout for good freeware 3gp to avi conveters to upload somee grrrreat videos that were taken a long time ago.

Our update of events:
We saw how Profession of Solemn Vows was made by three wonderful (ofm) Friars William Lee, Justin Lim and Derrick Yap. Then Brother Rowland went to Australia to pay a visit to his fellow Friars there and participated in World Youth Day. We went to Singapore Pastoral Institute to join our SPIers for a Mass and had a great time together. Today some of us celebrated St Mary's Feast Day!

SCDC-SMOTA gathered for the election of the new committee members on Sunday, 2 March 2008. The official committee members for the period of March 2008 to February 2009 are as follows:

February 2008 gathering

still not too late to say it..HAPPY 2008!! Father Joseph from Sarawak celebrated Mass at the Chapel. We have a new interpreter-volunteer, no worries, mate, with practice - you'll go a loooong way! (Anyone interested to hang around with us is always welcomed!)

Party Time

It's our Christmas and year end party!
We gathered together on 30 December 2007 at St Anthony, enjoying the barbeque spread, big Christmas cake and of course each other's company. The party was then followed with gifts exchange, that made us all excited. The day was full of fun and sweat too ;)
